
Under the patronage of the Central Bank of Egypt’s Central CSR Unit.. Suez Canal Bank inaugurates the inpatient ward of the Cardiac Catheterization Unit at Misr Al Qadima Mabara Hospital after its renovation and development support
As part of its keenness to support the healthcare sector and reinforcing its role in corporate social responsibility, Suez Canal Bank inaugurated the inpatient ward of the Cardiac Catheterization Unit at Misr Al Qadima Mabara Hospital following the completion of renovation and equipping works carried out under the patronage of the Central Bank of Egypt’s Central CSR Unit.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Akef El Maghraby, CEO and Managing Director of Suez Canal Bank; Dr. Ghada Tawfik, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt for Corporate Social Responsibility; and Nour Elzeny, Head of Financial Inclusion, Corporate Communications, and CSR at Suez Canal Bank.
Representing the hospital were Dr. Khaled Lasheen, General Manager of Misr Al Qadima Mabara Hospital; Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Shakweer, Chairman of the Therapeutic Institution; Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Sabry, Cardiology Consultant and Head of the Cardiology Department; and Dr. Ahmed Mohsen El Sawah, Cardiology Consultant and Head of the Catheterization Unit.
The development works included upgrading the inpatient floor dedicated to heart patients and equipping it with approximately 21 beds to accommodate patients before and after cardiac catheterization procedures, with a capacity to serve up to 300 patients per month.
